Product Information
Full details
Sonubaits Hemp & Hali Crush Groundbait is a premium fishing bait designed for river Barbel and widely used by specialist anglers. It's a carefully crafted blend of 95% crushed Hemp and Halibut pellets, coarsely ground to create a versatile mix perfect for various feeder types, including cage feeders, mesh feeders, river feeders, or simply balling in. This groundbait also serves as an excellent base for PVA Stick Mixes or sloppy spod mixes. Its consistency can be adjusted to remain sticky, making it effective even in flood conditions. The larger particle size aids in the efficient release of the groundbait from the feeder. The inclusion of ground Hemp provides a light oil that is released immediately, even in cold water, offering instant attraction. Complementing this, the fish oils from the Halibut pellets are released more slowly, ensuring continuous attraction for prolonged periods as water flows over them. The varied particle sizes create a scent trail, guiding fish from smaller dispersed particles downstream to the main bait around the feeder. Mixing is straightforward: empty the 2kg bag into a round bucket, add approximately 1.5 pints of water, mix thoroughly, and let it rest for 30 minutes. For optimal texture, rub the mix between your palms to remove lumps and ensure an even consistency. If the groundbait dries out due to sun or wind, cover it with a damp towel or add a little more water and remix.
