Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires cutting a precise 36x24 inch opening in your trailer or vehicle body. Ensure that the mounting surface is flat and structural supports are in place to handle the weight of the aluminum frame. Use automotive-grade sealant around the perimeter to ensure a waterproof barrier. For ongoing care, clean the aluminum frame with mild soap and water, and periodically lubricate the hydraulic rod pivot points with a silicone-based spray. Check the mounting screws every few months to ensure that vibrations from road travel have not loosened the hardware.
