Product Information

Full details

The Zita 5 Drawer Chest is designed for homeowners and renters seeking a blend of modern aesthetics and practical storage in compact living spaces. Its primary benefit is the combination of five deep, smooth-gliding drawers housed in a space-saving footprint, finished with an elegant marble-effect surface. While the chest offers significant storage capacity, potential users should note that the assembly process requires patience and should be performed on a soft surface to protect the finish during construction.

FAQs

What tools do I need for assembly?

You will generally need a Phillips head screwdriver. A hammer may be required for small finish nails on the back panel.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

While the finish is durable, excessive humidity and direct water contact may damage the particle board components. It is best suited for bedrooms or living areas.

Is the marble finish real stone?

No, it is a high-quality marble-effect finish applied to the surface for a sleek look without the weight and cost of real stone.

What is the best way to clean the drawers?

Wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water. Avoid soaking the wood or using furniture polish with wax.

How much weight can each drawer hold?

While intended for standard clothing, it is advised to avoid overloading with extremely heavy items like books or weights to ensure the glides last.

Troubleshooting

Drawers feel stiff or difficult to open

Check that the runners are installed perfectly level and that no debris is obstructing the track.

Unit feels unstable after assembly

Re-tighten all cam locks and screws to ensure the frame is pulled square and rigid.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Efficient vertical storage layout saves valuable floor space
High-quality marble effect finish provides a modern, upscale appearance
Easy-glide drawer tracks ensure smooth daily operation
Neutral white color scheme matches a wide variety of room decors

Cons

Requires full assembly upon arrival
Marble-effect finish may be sensitive to abrasive cleaning chemicals
Requires careful handling during setup to avoid scratches

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly

The chest is shipped flat-packed. We recommend assembling the unit on a carpet or rug to prevent scratching the marble-effect finish. Ensure all hardware is accounted for before starting and use a manual screwdriver to avoid overtightening and damaging the material.

Compatibility

Its white finish and compact dimensions make it highly compatible with neutral-toned rooms. It pairs well with white, grey, or pastel color schemes. Measure your intended wall space carefully to ensure it fits comfortably.

Maintenance

To clean the exterior, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads, as these can strip or scratch the decorative marble-effect finish. Periodically check the drawer screws to ensure they remain tight over time.
