Setup, Compatibility & Care
When installing your system, ensure you are using DDR4 memory modules, as the DIMM slots are not compatible with DDR5. The motherboard supports dual-channel memory configurations up to a maximum of 128 GB.
- CPU Installation: Carefully align the processor in the LGA 1700 socket to avoid bending pins.
- Memory: Insert DDR4 modules into the color-coded slots for optimal dual-channel performance.
- Storage: Utilize the M.2 slots for your primary NVMe SSD and use the included Thermal Guard heat sink to ensure longevity and consistent speeds.
- Maintenance: Periodically check for dust accumulation near the VRM heat sinks and fans. Use compressed air to clean these areas every few months to maintain optimal thermal performance. Update the BIOS periodically via the provided tools to ensure continued compatibility with the latest hardware and security patches.
