FAQs

Does the chair require assembly?

Yes, the HOUE Click Roomy Lounge Chair requires some assembly. The frame typically needs to be put together, and then the plastic slats are clipped into place.

Can I change the color of the slats?

Absolutely. The plastic lamellas are designed to be easily clipped on and off, allowing you to change colors to suit your mood or seasonal decor.

Is the chair comfortable without a cushion?

Yes, the chair is specifically engineered with flexible plastic lamellas that provide a comfortable and supportive seating experience, even without cushions.

What is the best way to clean the bamboo armrests?

Wipe the bamboo armrests with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. Natural aging may cause a patina; specific bamboo oils can be used if preferred, following product instructions.

Is this chair suitable for all weather conditions?

The chair is designed for intensive outdoor use with weather, UV, and water-resistant materials (IP65 protection). However, prolonged extreme weather exposure should always be considered for any outdoor furniture.

What are the dimensions of the chair?

The dimensions are W 78 cm x D 75.5 cm x H 73 cm.

What colors are available for the slats?

While the pictured model is Olive Green, the slats can be changed. Other available slat colors typically include mineral beige, off-white, dusty blue, lemon zest, and paprika.

Troubleshooting

Slat not clicking into place

Ensure the slot on the frame is clear of debris. Try applying gentle, even pressure to the slat to engage the clip mechanism.

Chair wobbles

Check that all frame screws are tightened securely. Ensure the chair is placed on a level surface.

Discoloration on bamboo armrests

This is often a natural aging process for bamboo. For aesthetic preference, consider cleaning with a mild solution or using a bamboo-specific care product if recommended.

Frame shows minor scratches

For minor cosmetic scratches on the powder-coated frame, touch-up paint designed for outdoor furniture might be used cautiously, ensuring compatibility with the existing finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The HOUE Click Roomy Lounge Chair is designed for straightforward assembly. Typically, this involves attaching the frame components and then clipping the lamella slats into place. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

Compatibility: This chair is designed for outdoor use and integrates well with various outdoor furniture styles, from modern minimalist to natural wabi-sabi aesthetics. It pairs well with other pieces from the HOUE Click collection or complementary outdoor materials like wood and stone.

Care:

Frame: Wipe the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Lamellas: The plastic lamellas can be cleaned with water and mild soap. For deeper cleaning or color changes, simply unclip and re-clip the slats.
Bamboo Armrests: To maintain the natural look of the bamboo, wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged soaking. Over time, bamboo may develop a silvery patina, which is natural. For those who prefer to maintain the original color, occasional application of a bamboo-specific oil might be considered, following manufacturer recommendations.
