FAQs

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The VEVOR Hand Truck is rated for a maximum load capacity of 227 kg.

Can this be used on stairs?

While it can handle occasional curbs, it is not specifically designed as a stair-climbing hand truck.

Is the frame rust-resistant?

Yes, the aluminum alloy construction is naturally rust-resistant and suitable for varied environments.

Are the wheels air-filled?

The 10-inch wheels are made of solid rubber, meaning they do not require air and are puncture-proof.

What is the weight of the truck itself?

The aluminum construction makes it lightweight, though the exact weight varies slightly based on the specific assembly; it is generally easy for one person to carry.

Troubleshooting

Handles feel loose or unstable

Check the locking pins or adjustment knobs to ensure they are fully seated in the desired position holes.

Wheels are difficult to turn

Inspect the axle for tangled hair, string, or debris and clean the area around the hub; apply lubricant if the resistance persists.

Base plate does not stay folded

Ensure the hinge mechanism is clear of obstructions and the locking tab is properly aligned.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Impressive 227 kg weight capacity for heavy-duty tasks
  • Lightweight aluminum construction prevents rust
  • Foldable design enables convenient storage
  • Large 10-inch tires improve maneuverability

Cons

  • Rubber wheels may struggle on soft or loose terrain
  • Aluminum frame can show scratches under extreme industrial abuse
  • Manual strap for securing loads is not included

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your VEVOR Hand Truck, follow these care instructions:

  1. Initial Setup: Unfold the base plate and extend the handles to your preferred height. Ensure the locking mechanisms are fully engaged before loading any items.
  2. Load Distribution: Always place the heaviest items at the bottom of the stack, closest to the wheels, to maintain a low center of gravity.
  3. Cleaning: Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp cloth after outdoor use to remove dirt or debris. Use mild soap if necessary.
  4. Maintenance: Regularly check the wheel axles and pivot points for debris. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the hinges if they become stiff over time.
  5. Storage: Always store in a dry, indoor environment to prevent long-term exposure to harsh weather conditions, even though the alloy is rust-resistant.
