The Selle San Marco Bioaktive Sportive Open Fit Saddle is designed for adult cyclists of all genders who prioritize long-distance comfort without sacrificing performance. Its primary benefit is the ergonomically researched central channel that alleviates perineal pressure, making it an ideal choice for endurance road or off-road riders. While it offers excellent vibration damping and durability, users should be aware that at 310 grams, it is heavier than high-end carbon-racing saddles, making it better suited for comfort-focused builds rather than weight-weenie setups.

Yes, it is designed for both road and off-road disciplines, including gravel and mountain biking.
The Selle San Marco Bioaktive Sportive weighs 310 grams.
While it is a cut-out design, the impact on riding is negligible. Many riders use a small saddle bag to cover the area if they are concerned about spray.
Yes, its ergonomic focus makes it an excellent choice for riders transitioning to more frequent or longer cycling sessions.
The saddle measures 254mm in length and 151mm in width.
Yes, provided your seatpost clamp is designed for standard 7mm round rails.
Check the rail clamps on your seatpost. Clean any grit from the rail interface and apply a light layer of assembly grease to the clamp bolts.
Ensure your seatpost clamp bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specification. Check that the rails are not resting on the transition curves of the seatpost clamp.
Setup: Mount the saddle on any standard two-bolt or single-bolt seatpost. When adjusting, ensure the rails are clamped within the indicated 'Max' range to maintain structural integrity.
Compatibility: This is a unisex saddle compatible with almost all standard road, mountain, and gravel seatposts. Ensure your seatpost clamp is compatible with round steel rails.
Care: Clean the saddle after muddy rides using a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers, which can force water into the shell and damage the padding. The Silkfeel cover is durable, but avoid harsh chemicals that may degrade the matte finish.
