The Logitech Compass Premium Microphone Boom Arm is designed for streamers, podcasters, and content creators who require a professional-grade, unobtrusive mounting solution for their studio microphones. Featuring a sleek, tube-style design with internal springs and integrated cable management, it provides smooth and quiet adjustments to keep your workspace tidy; however, users should ensure their microphone setup, including any shock mounts, does not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 2.4 pounds.

Yes, it supports microphones weighing up to 2.4 lbs, which includes the Blue Yeti and other similar broadcast microphones.
No, the Compass includes the boom arm and desk clamp; a shock mount must be purchased or used separately.
The channel is designed to accommodate standard broadcast XLR cables comfortably.
The included C-clamp is designed for removable mounting, but it can remain installed permanently on most standard desk configurations.
The Compass offers a vertical and horizontal reach suitable for most standard desk setups, approximately 32 inches when fully extended.
Tighten the tension adjustment screws located at the joints of the arm to hold your specific microphone's weight securely.
Ensure your desk surface provides at least 3 inches of flat edge for the C-clamp to grip; avoid glass or uneven surfaces.
To install the Compass, attach the C-clamp to the edge of a sturdy desk, ensuring the surface is flat and sufficient to support the clamp width. The arm features a standard 5/8-inch threading, making it compatible with most major studio microphones and shock mounts. For care, simply wipe down the aluminum tubing with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents on the finish. Check the tension screws periodically if you notice the arm sagging, and ensure all cables are routed through the channels to prevent them from catching during adjustments.
