The GBC CombBind Binding Combs (45mm) are designed for office professionals and educators who need a durable, high-capacity solution for binding thick training manuals, comprehensive reports, and lengthy presentations. These combs offer the significant benefit of a "lay-flat" design, which makes reading, photocopying, and note-taking seamless; however, users should note that they require a compatible 21-ring CombBind machine to function correctly.

These combs are designed for A4 paper. While they might technically fit, they will extend beyond the edge of A5 documents.
They have a maximum capacity of 390 sheets of standard A4 paper.
They are made of PVC. Please check your local municipal guidelines regarding the recycling of PVC plastic products.
Yes, GBC CombBind combs are designed for repeated de-binding and re-binding, allowing you to add or remove pages as needed.
No, they are crafted from high-quality PVC resins specifically treated to resist discoloration.
Ensure the comb was fully closed by the binding machine and that the paper size matches the A4 standard.
Verify that your binding machine is compatible with 45mm diameter combs and that the comb is seated correctly on the teeth.
Check that the holes in the paper are punched cleanly and not obstructed by debris; ensure the comb is not over-filled beyond the 390-sheet capacity.
To use these combs, ensure your binding machine is set to handle the 45mm size. Insert the comb onto the machine's comb opener, align your punched paper with the comb teeth, and close the mechanism according to your machine's instructions. These combs are compatible with all 21-ring systems designed for A4 paper. To maintain the professional look of your documents, store the unused combs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which helps preserve the integrity of the PVC material over long periods.
