The HiKOKI SB3608DAW4Z is a powerful cordless belt sander designed for professional carpenters and woodworkers who require high-performance stock removal without the constraints of a power cord. Offering the equivalent power of a 1,000W corded tool, it is perfect for heavy-duty material removal and finish sanding, though users should be aware that it is a bare unit and requires a separate investment in the HiKOKI 36V battery ecosystem.

To begin, ensure you have a charged HiKOKI 36V battery. Attach the included WA80 sanding belt by releasing the tension lever on the side, sliding the belt onto the rollers, and locking it back into place. For dust management, attach the provided dust bag or the elbow connector to integrate with an external shop vacuum system. Always check the tracking of the belt before starting the motor. Regularly clean the dust extraction port and cooling vents with compressed air to prevent build-up, and store the tool in a dry, temperate environment to protect the electronics.
