No, this cover is engineered specifically for Magura clutch master cylinders.
It is recommended to inspect your original diaphragm gasket for cracks or deformation; replace it if it shows any signs of wear.
Use a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or metal-bristled brushes.
It provides superior durability and tolerances compared to stock, which helps maintain a more consistent seal for the master cylinder.
The Apico logo is precision laser-etched into the material for a permanent, professional finish.
Check that the rubber diaphragm is seated correctly and the mounting bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque settings.
Ensure you are using the cover on a genuine Magura master cylinder; verify the orientation matches the original factory position.
While anodizing is durable, prolonged exposure to direct UV rays may fade the color; use a protective bike cover when the motorcycle is parked for long periods.
Installation requires basic mechanical knowledge. Ensure the area around the original reservoir is thoroughly cleaned before removal to prevent dirt from entering the system. When installing, tighten the mounting screws in a criss-cross pattern to ensure even pressure on the rubber diaphragm. This product is strictly compatible with Magura clutch master cylinders. For maintenance, clean the cover using mild soap and water; avoid abrasive chemical cleaners or steel wool, as these can strip the anodized finish and expose the aluminum to potential oxidation.
