Yes, Liberon Beeswax Liquid is EN 71 Part 3 approved, making it safe for use on wooden toys.

While it is primarily designed for unsealed woods, it can be used on lightly sealed surfaces. However, it is most effective at nourishing and protecting deeply absorbent, unfinished wood.

The frequency of reapplication depends on the use and environment of the wood. For frequently used items or areas, reapplication might be needed every 6-12 months. For less used items, it could last longer.

Stand the container in a bowl of hot water for approximately 5 minutes to gently warm and liquefy the wax before application.

Ensure the surface was clean and dry before application. Apply in thin, even coats and buff off excess thoroughly. Reapply a thin coat if necessary, ensuring even coverage.

The wood may be extremely absorbent. Apply a second, thin coat of beeswax liquid, allowing adequate penetration time before buffing.

Too much wax may have been applied. Buff more vigorously with a clean, dry cloth to remove all excess. Ensure subsequent coats are applied more thinly.
