Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal results, follow these steps during your project:
- Surface Preparation: Always ensure the surface is clean and dry. Dust, grease, or moisture will significantly reduce the tape's effectiveness.
- Application: Apply the tape in short, manageable sections to ensure it stays straight and tension-free. Avoid stretching the tape, as this can cause it to lift prematurely.
- Removal: Remove the tape while the paint is still slightly damp (or as recommended by your paint manufacturer) at a 45-degree angle to keep lines clean and minimize the risk of peeling the paint layer.
- Storage: Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Extreme temperature fluctuations can impact the adhesive quality over long periods.
