FAQs
Can I use the Hut Moc 2 for hiking?
These shoes are designed for casual use and recovery; they do not provide the stability or traction required for technical hiking trails.
Are these shoes machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the materials and construction. Always use a manual spot-cleaning method.
Does the blue color fade easily?
The materials are durable, but avoid prolonged exposure to harsh, direct sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the navy color.
Are they waterproof?
The Hut Moc 2 is not waterproof and is intended for use in dry or mildly damp conditions.
How should I store them?
Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup and to keep the shoe shape intact.
Troubleshooting
Heel slipping while walking
Ensure the shoe is fully on and the heel cup is properly seated. If slippage persists, consider wearing slightly thicker socks to improve the fit.
Getting the material dirty
Use a soft brush to remove loose debris, followed by a damp cloth with mild soap; never submerge the shoes in a washing machine.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely lightweight and easy to pack
- Convenient slip-on functionality for quick access
- Breathable design ensures foot comfort for long durations
- Modern and versatile aesthetic suitable for casual settings
Cons
- Not suitable for technical hiking or rocky terrain
- Lack of advanced ankle support compared to traditional boots
- Lightweight construction is intended for casual use, not high-impact activity
Setup, Compatibility & Care
The Hut Moc 2 is ready to wear immediately out of the box with no break-in period required for most users. To ensure longevity, avoid exposing the shoes to extreme heat sources like heaters or tumble dryers, as this can degrade the specialized materials. If they become dirty, spot clean with a mild soap and a soft brush or damp cloth. Allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Given their slip-on nature, ensure you have the correct UK size 7 fit to prevent unnecessary heel slippage.
