This NRS Healthcare Height Adjustable Swedish Bath Rail is designed for individuals who need extra stability when entering and exiting a bathtub. Its primary benefit is reducing the risk of slips and falls, promoting independent living. A key consideration is that it requires self-assembly and is designed to attach to the bath rim and potentially the floor, necessitating a stable bath setup. Key features include its robust chrome-plated steel construction, adjustable height and angled handrail for optimal user comfort and support, and secure clamp-based fixation.

The NRS Healthcare Height Adjustable Swedish Bath Rail can support a maximum user weight of 150 kgs (23 stone).
It is compatible with baths with a rim height between 425mm - 640mm and a rim width between 37mm - 90mm. It requires a stable bath edge for the clamps to grip securely. It may also require floor fixing for maximum stability, which needs suitable flooring and fixings.
The grab rail requires self-assembly, but typically does not require professional installation unless you are securing the base plate to the floor and are unsure how to do so.
Clean it regularly with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Wipe it dry afterward to prevent water spots and maintain the chrome finish.
This product comes with a 1-year guarantee.
The handrail is angled at the top for user comfort and provides maximum support.
The base plate dimensions are 265mm x 25mm (10.5" x 1").
Ensure the bath clamps are fully tightened onto the bath rim. If using the floor base plate, verify it is securely fixed to the floor. Re-check all assembly screws and fittings to ensure they are tight.
Locate the adjustment mechanism (usually a knob or lever) and ensure it is fully loosened before attempting to move the rail. Check for any obstructions preventing movement. Refer to the assembly manual for specific adjustment steps.
Measure the thickness of your bath rim to ensure it falls within the compatible range (37mm - 90mm). Ensure the clamps are correctly positioned and tightened to grip the rim securely.
This is uncommon with proper care. Clean the affected area gently with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure the rail is dried thoroughly after each use and cleaning to prevent moisture buildup.
