Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of this system should be planned during a bathroom renovation or a major plumbing project, as it requires recessing the valve into the wall structure. Ensure your bathroom plumbing supports standard pressure requirements for thermostatic valves.
Installation Steps:
- Measure and cut the wall cavity to house the thermostatic valve body.
- Secure the brass valve into the wall and connect hot and cold water supply lines.
- Install the pipework leading to the overhead shower arm and the hand shower outlet.
- Ensure all connections are watertight before closing the wall and tiling.
- Mount the chrome faceplate and control handles.
Care Instructions: To maintain the chrome finish, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can dull the shine or damage the protective layer. If you live in a hard-water area, periodically wipe down the silicone spray nozzles on the shower head to prevent mineral buildup.
