Ideal for gardeners looking for something different, it adds texture and colour to mixed borders, container displays, or low hedging. Its semi-evergreen leaves retain their vibrancy through most winters, while small red flowers bloom in autumn, offering seasonal charm. This versatile shrub thrives in various conditions, from exposed and coastal gardens to more sheltered locations where it may develop a softer growth habit. Growing from seed provides a cost-effective way to cultivate a distinctive feature plant that stands out, ensuring long-term beauty and resilience in the garden. This compact shrub is ideal for mixed borders and containers with semi-evergreen bronze foliage that persists in most winters. The shrub produces delicate red flowers in autumn for seasonal interest.
