The 5 Star Office Shorthand Pad is designed for students, office professionals, and journalists who require a reliable and portable note-taking solution. Its primary benefit is the durable wirebound design that allows for easy folding and flat writing, though users should note that the 60gsm paper weight is best suited for standard ballpoint pens rather than heavy-ink fountain pens to prevent bleed-through.

The pad features 60gsm white paper.
While it is wirebound, the pages are not perforated for tear-out, so removing them cleanly requires care.
Due to the 60gsm paper weight, fountain pens may cause ink bleeding; ballpoint pens are recommended.
Each pad contains 200 pages.
The pad is A5 sized, making it highly portable for travel and office use.
Ensure you turn pages gently and avoid pulling the paper sharply against the metal coils.
Switch to a ballpoint pen or a fine-tip mechanical pencil, as 60gsm paper is thin and not intended for heavy ink flow.
This shorthand pad requires no complex setup; it is ready to use immediately out of the packaging. It is compatible with all standard writing instruments, including ballpoint pens, gel pens, and lead pencils. To maintain the structural integrity of the wire binding, avoid overloading the pad with loose papers or documents, which can strain the spiral. Store in a cool, dry place to prevent the paper from absorbing moisture, which can occasionally affect the smoothness of the writing surface.
