Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation involves securing the hangers to the primary structural support (e.g., ceiling joists or beams). This typically requires pre-drilling pilot holes and then driving the hangers into place using an appropriate screwdriver or driver bit. Ensure the hangers are seated firmly and aligned correctly before attaching ceiling panels or fixtures.
Compatibility:
These hangers are designed for use with a wide variety of standard ceiling types, including plasterboard, suspended grid systems, and wood-framed ceilings. They are best suited for applications where the hanger is secured into solid timber or robust structural elements. Compatibility with metal framing or concrete requires appropriate fixings not included with this product.
Care:
To maintain the integrity and appearance of the BZP finish, avoid exposing the hangers to abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. A simple wipe-down with a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient for routine cleaning. Ensure the surrounding area is well-ventilated if installed in a potentially damp environment to maximize the corrosion resistance benefits.
