Full details

The Fidlock PINCLIP Saddle Bag is for cyclists who need secure, easy-access storage for ride essentials. Its key benefit is the innovative magnetic-mechanical quick-change system for effortless mounting and removal, offering a play-free, secure connection. A potential caveat is that the 700ml capacity might be limiting for longer tours requiring extensive gear. This bag features a 700ml volume, waterproof material, intelligent compartmentalization, and a roll-top closure with a V-BUCKLE S for adjustable volume, ensuring your items stay dry and organized.

FAQs

What is the main advantage of the PINCLIP system?

The PINCLIP system offers a fast, secure, and play-free magnetic-mechanical connection, allowing for effortless attachment and removal of the saddle bag.

What can fit inside the 700ml bag?

The 700ml capacity is suitable for essentials such as a spare inner tube, tire levers, a multi-tool, CO2 cartridges, and a small personal item like keys or a gel pack.

Is the bag completely waterproof?

The bag is constructed from waterproof material and features a roll-top closure, providing excellent protection against rain and moisture. However, submersion is not recommended.

Do I need to buy a separate adapter?

No, the Fidlock PINCLIP Saddle Bag includes a bicycle saddle adapter for installation.

Can the bag volume be adjusted?

Yes, the roll-top closure allows you to adjust the bag's volume based on how much you need to carry.

How do I clean the saddle bag?

Clean the bag with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow it to air dry completely before use or storage.

What is the warranty period?

Please refer to Fidlock's official website or product packaging for specific warranty information, as it may vary.

Troubleshooting

Bag won't attach securely to the adapter

Ensure both the bag and adapter are clean and free of debris. Check that the bag is aligned correctly with the adapter before attempting to lock it. Verify the adapter is securely mounted to the saddle.

Difficulty releasing the bag from the adapter

Consult the specific instructions for your PINCLIP adapter release mechanism. Ensure you are performing the correct action (e.g., pressing a lever, twisting). Clean the locking mechanism if it appears obstructed.

Contents are wet after riding in rain

Verify that the roll-top closure was properly sealed by rolling it down several times before fastening the V-BUCKLE S. Ensure the bag material is not damaged, which could compromise its waterproof integrity.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The saddle bag requires installation of the included saddle adapter onto your bicycle's saddle rails. Ensure the adapter is securely fastened according to its specific instructions. Once the adapter is in place, align the bag with the adapter and push it on until you feel the magnetic-mechanical lock engage. To remove, typically there is a lever or specific motion required to disengage the lock (refer to the adapter's manual for details).

Compatibility: This bag is designed to work with the Fidlock PINCLIP system. The included adapter is intended for standard bicycle saddle rails. Verify compatibility if you have non-standard saddle rails or seat posts.

Care: Clean the bag with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Ensure the bag is dry before storing. Periodically check the saddle adapter and bag connection for any debris that might impede the locking mechanism.
