How do I sharpen the blades?

For safety and performance, it is recommended to have the laser-cut blades professionally sharpened if they become dull.

What is the maximum reach of the trimmer?

The trimmer has a total reach of 2.6 meters, allowing you to trim most standard tall hedges from ground level.

Is the trimmer weather-resistant?

It is an electric tool; it should never be used in wet or rainy conditions to avoid electrical hazards.

Troubleshooting

Motor fails to start

Ensure the power cable is securely plugged in and check your home circuit breaker or RCD.

Blades are jamming or dragging

Clean away trapped twigs or leaves and ensure the blades are properly lubricated with a light oil.

Telescopic shaft slipping

Check the locking collar to ensure it is tightened correctly and not obstructed by debris.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Safe ground-level operation eliminates the need for ladders
Quiet and emission-free electric motor
Balanced design reduces user fatigue
Adjustable head angle for versatile shaping
Laser-cut blades ensure precise cutting

Cons

Corded power limits working distance to 10 meters
Requires proximity to an outdoor electrical outlet
Cable management requires attention to avoid tangling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: extend the telescopic shaft to your desired length and lock it firmly in place before operation. Always ensure the power cable is routed away from the cutting path. Compatibility-wise, this device requires a standard outdoor-rated extension lead if your hedge exceeds the 10m length of the built-in cable. For care, keep the blades clean from sap and debris after every use; applying a light machine oil to the blade teeth prevents rust and maintains cutting efficiency. Regularly check that all locking knobs on the telescopic shaft are tight to prevent slipping during use.
