Product Information

Full details

The Nebo Poppy Puck is an ultra-portable, multi-functional lighting solution designed for campers, travelers, and anyone requiring a reliable emergency light. Its standout feature is the collapsible accordion design, which transitions between a directional flashlight and a soft ambient lantern, though its compact size means it is best suited for localized tasks rather than lighting large rooms.

FAQs

Is the Nebo Poppy Puck waterproof?

It is designed for general outdoor use, but it is not rated for submersion in water.

How do I switch between the 5 light modes?

You can cycle through the light modes by pressing the power button repeatedly while the unit is on.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime varies depending on the light mode used; check the included manual for specific hour-to-lumen runtimes.

Does it come with a charging cable?

Yes, it includes a USB-C charging cable for quick and reliable power replenishment.

Can the magnet damage electronic devices?

The magnet is safe for general use, but it is recommended to keep it away from sensitive electronics like credit cards, hard drives, or pacemakers.

How bright is the candle flicker mode?

The candle flicker mode is designed for ambiance rather than high-intensity task lighting, making it much dimmer than the standard flood mode.

Troubleshooting

The light is dim or flickering

The battery level is likely low. Charge the unit fully using a high-quality USB-C cable.

The accordion body does not stay extended

Ensure the internal tracks are free of debris and that you are pulling the top section evenly to engage the locking mechanism.

Device is not charging

Check the USB-C port for any lint or dust buildup and try a different power adapter to rule out charging hardware issues.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely compact and lightweight design
Versatile mounting with magnets and hooks
Dual-functionality (flashlight and lantern)
Convenient USB-C charging

Cons

Small form factor limits total light coverage
Requires manual adjustment for light modes
Accordion mechanism requires careful handling to prevent wear

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: simply charge the device using a standard USB-C cable until the indicator shows a full charge. To use, pull the top section upward to deploy the accordion lantern body or keep it collapsed for a focused flashlight beam. For care, keep the unit away from extreme moisture or submersion. Wipe the lens periodically with a microfiber cloth to maintain beam clarity. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods to preserve the internal battery health.
