Full details

The Dolce and Gabbana Glazelighter All Over Highlighter is a versatile, luminous bar designed for individuals looking for an effortless, high-impact glow on both the face and body. FAQs

Can I use this over powder foundation?

While it can be used over powder, it is best applied by tapping with fingers or a sponge to avoid disturbing the base layer.

Is this product vegan?

The formula contains Vegan Collagen, though please check the full ingredient list on the packaging for specific sensitivities.

Does it work on all skin types?

Yes, the nourishing properties of Almond Extract make it suitable for various skin types, though those with very oily skin may prefer setting it with a translucent powder.

How do I remove the highlighter?

Since it is sweat-proof, it is best removed using an oil-based cleanser or a gentle makeup removing balm.

Can it be used on the eyes?

Yes, it is formulated to be safe for use on the eyelids for a glossy, luminous shadow effect.

Troubleshooting

Product is tugging on the skin during application

Warm the product slightly against the back of your hand or between your fingertips before applying to help the balm glide more smoothly.

The finish looks too intense or chunky

Use a damp makeup sponge to press and bounce over the highlight, which helps lift excess pigment and melt the product into the skin.

Product becomes too soft in hot weather

Place the stick in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to firm up the formula before use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Effortless application for face and body
Lightweight, non-sticky texture
Formulated with nourishing ingredients like Italian Almond Extract
Highly durable against sweat and humidity
Vegan Collagen inclusion for skin hydration

Cons

May require extra blending to avoid streaking
Format can be difficult to use for precise under-eye highlighting
Higher pigment intensity may not suit minimal makeup looks without thinning

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To use, remove the cap and twist the base to expose the product. Apply by either swiping directly onto the skin for higher intensity or tapping the product onto your fingertips first to build a softer, sheerer layer. To ensure longevity, always cap the product tightly after use to prevent the balm from drying out. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as the nourishing balm texture can soften in excessive heat. The product is compatible with most liquid or cream foundations, though it is recommended to apply after setting your base if using a powder to prevent pilling.
