The Maileg Grandma & Grandpa Mice in Cigarbox is an enchanting set designed for children who enjoy imaginative play and collectors who appreciate artisanal craftsmanship. These mice serve as the perfect centerpiece for dollhouse family dynamics, offering a tactile and heartwarming experience that encourages storytelling and nurturing roleplay. FAQs

What age is this set recommended for?

While intended for children 3 years and older, adult supervision is recommended due to the small size of the shoes and bedding components.

Can the clothing be removed?

The clothing is designed to be part of the character's aesthetic and is generally not intended to be removed or swapped.

What are the dimensions of the cigar box?

The box acts as a standard Maileg miniature bed size, fitting well within the Maileg Dollhouse and furniture line.

Are these mice washable?

We recommend spot cleaning only with a damp cloth. Submerging them in water may damage the internal structure and fabric integrity.

Does this set include furniture other than the bed?

No, the set includes the two mice and their bedding housed within the cigar box.

Troubleshooting

The mice look slightly rumpled after play.

Gently reshape the clothing by hand and smooth the bedding materials; the natural fibers respond well to light manipulation.

The cigar box lid becomes loose.

Check the hinge area for any obstruction; if it remains loose, store the box flat rather than upright to maintain the shape.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Maileg Grandma and Grandpa mice in pristine condition, avoid machine washing the dolls or the bedding, as the delicate fabrics and glued elements may deteriorate. If the fabric becomes dusty, use a soft-bristled brush or a lint roller to gently remove debris. The mice are compatible with other items in the Maileg classic series, fitting seamlessly into the miniature furniture ecosystem. Ensure the cigar box is stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the printed cardboard from fading over time.
