The Manthorpe G930-BF Airbrick is an essential ventilation solution for builders and homeowners looking to ensure proper airflow into cavity walls and under-floor voids. It is specifically rated for use with gas appliances, offering a reliable 6450mm2 of airflow per unit. While it provides excellent structural integration and modular versatility, it is important to note that the unit requires permanent mortar fixing, making it a more permanent solution than surface-mounted vents.

Yes, this airbrick is specifically designed to meet ventilation requirements for gas appliances.
Yes, the modular design allows you to clip units together to create 9 inch x 6 inch or 9 inch x 9 inch ventilation blocks.
A single unit provides 6450mm2 of airflow.
Yes, the front-mounted grille includes integrated water deflectors designed to stop wind-driven rain from entering the wall cavity.
The unit features a surrounding mortar key, which should be bedded into the mortar during the bricklaying process for a secure fix.
This specific model (G930-BF) is finished in a beige colour.
Check the exterior grille for blockages such as debris, dirt, or nearby overgrown plants.
Ensure the plastic clip-lock tabs are clean and aligned correctly before applying pressure to snap them together.
Verify that enough mortar has been applied to the mortar key surface to create a solid bond with the surrounding bricks.
Installation should be carried out during the bricklaying process. To install, position the unit within the desired course and apply mortar around the integrated key to secure it firmly to the building fabric. If a larger ventilation area is required, align the clip-lock mechanisms to join multiple units before mortaring. To maintain the unit, simply ensure the grille remains free of debris such as leaves or garden waste. Periodic inspection of the grille is recommended to ensure the airflow remains unobstructed, especially in areas with dense vegetation.
