FAQs

What sizes of Stabila levels can this bag carry?

The bag is designed to carry up to three Stabila levels. It has dedicated slots for 122 cm, 68 cm, and 29 cm levels, with the main compartment accommodating levels up to 122 cm.

Is the bag completely waterproof?

The bag is constructed with 900D water-resistant outer material, which protects tools from rain and splashes. However, it is not designed for submersion and prolonged heavy exposure may allow some moisture ingress.

Can this bag be used for other tools besides levels?

While the bag's primary design is for Stabila levels, its main compartment could potentially hold other long, slender items. However, the internal slots are specifically shaped for levels, and the secure fit for non-level tools is not guaranteed.

How should I clean the bag?

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow the bag to air dry completely if it becomes wet.

What type of zippers does the bag use?

The bag features interlocking YKK zippers, known for their industrial strength and durability.

Is the handle comfortable for carrying multiple levels?

Yes, the bag is equipped with a rubber ergonomic carry handle designed for comfortable transportation of the levels it carries.

Troubleshooting

Zipper is difficult to open or close.

Ensure there is no fabric caught in the interlocking YKK zippers. If stiff, gently apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or graphite pencil lead to the zipper teeth and work the zipper back and forth.

Bag appears wet inside after use in rain.

While the material is water-resistant, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion may allow some moisture to penetrate. Ensure the zippers are fully interlocked and closed. Allow the bag to air dry completely before storing.

Levels do not fit snugly in the internal slots.

This bag is specifically engineered for Stabila level dimensions. Ensure you are using compatible Stabila level sizes. If using non-Stabila levels, they may not fit as securely.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Compatibility:

  • Primary Compatibility: Designed to hold up to three Stabila levels. Specific internal slots accommodate lengths of 122 cm, 68 cm, and 29 cm. The main compartment is capable of fitting levels up to 122 cm.
  • Secondary Compatibility: While optimized for Stabila levels, other similar-sized spirit levels from different brands *may* fit, but precise securement is not guaranteed.

Care Instructions:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the water-resistant coating.
