Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Installation: The cooker hood can be installed as either a ducted or recirculating unit. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe and correct installation.
- Electrical Connection: Ensure the unit is connected to a 230V, 50 Hz power supply.
- Ducting (if applicable): If using the ducted mode, connect the hood to an appropriate exhaust vent. Note that the ducting hose is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
- Filter Installation: Install the grease filters (and charcoal filters if using recirculation). The grease filter type is Aluminium.
Compatibility
The CDA EVP92SS is compatible with standard kitchen setups. Ensure adequate clearance from the hob. Minimum distance from an electric hob is 45cm and 65cm for a gas hob.

- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and a stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Grease Filters: Clean the aluminum grease filters regularly (dishwasher-proof) to maintain performance. A filter cleaning indicator is available.
- Charcoal Filters (if used): Replace charcoal filters every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
