Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and care ensure you get the most out of your Morphe Wakeup Artist Concealer.
Initial Setup:
- Shade Matching: Before full application, swatch a small amount of `Ivory 3N` on your jawline or inner wrist to ensure it blends seamlessly with your skin tone. For undereye brightening, you might choose a shade one or two steps lighter than your foundation.
- Patch Test: If you have sensitive skin, apply a tiny amount to an inconspicuous area, such as behind the ear, 24 hours before full use to check for any reaction.
Compatibility:
- With Skincare: This concealer layers well over most undereye creams and serums. Allow your skincare to fully absorb before applying the concealer to prevent pilling.
- With Foundation: It can be applied before or after foundation, depending on your desired level of coverage and finish. Applying after foundation can help pinpoint areas needing extra brightening or correction.
- With Setting Powder: For extended wear, especially if you have oily skin or prefer a more matte finish, a light dusting of translucent setting powder is compatible. Apply gently with a fluffy brush.
Care & Maintenance:
- Storage: Store the concealer upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its formula integrity.
- Hygiene: To prevent contamination, avoid sharing your concealer. Clean the applicator tip occasionally with a clean tissue if it comes into contact with other products.
- Expiration: Observe the product's PAO (Period After Opening) symbol, typically a jar icon with a number and 'M' (e.g., 12M), which indicates how many months the product is good for after opening.
