Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
This is a dual fuel appliance, meaning it requires both a gas connection for the hob and an electrical connection for the ovens and grill. Professional installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer (for gas) and a qualified electrician is highly recommended to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Ensure the cooker is placed on a level surface; adjustable feet are provided to accommodate uneven floors.
Compatibility:
- Gas Connection: Requires a standard domestic gas supply.
- Electrical Connection: Requires a dedicated electrical circuit, typically a 32A or 40A supply, with the specified voltage (230 - 400 V). The cooker may arrive without a plug, requiring hardwiring. Check the manual for precise electrical requirements.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance as per the installation manual to prevent overheating.
Care:
- Hob: Wipe the gas hob with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure burner caps and heads are dry before reassembling. The cast iron pan supports can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Ovens: The left oven features catalytic liners that absorb grease and food splatters during normal cooking. Periodically wipe down these liners. For the right oven, use a non-abrasive oven cleaner on the enamel interior. Removable shelves can be washed by hand.
- Grill: Clean the grill pan and support after each use.
- Exterior: Clean the gloss black finish and chrome trim with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads.
