Full details
The Aden + Anais Silky Soft Muslin Swaddles are designed for parents seeking a gentle, breathable, and versatile fabric for their newborns. These bamboo-infused viscose blankets offer a premium, moisture-wicking softness that is exceptionally kind to sensitive skin while helping babies sleep more soundly by mimicking the snugness of the womb. While they provide superior comfort and breathability, the lightweight nature of the fabric requires careful handling to prevent snagging on sharp objects or velcro.

FAQs
Can these be used as a sun shade?
Yes, their breathable, lightweight muslin weave makes them an excellent choice for a stroller sun shade, provided there is enough airflow.
Are these blankets suitable for summer?
Absolutely. The moisture-wicking and breathable properties of the bamboo-infused viscose are specifically designed to keep babies comfortable in warmer temperatures.
What is the best way to keep them from snagging?
Wash them inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the delicate fibers from other items in the wash.
Is the fabric fire-retardant?
These blankets are not treated with flame-retardant chemicals.
How many blankets come in the pack?
Each purchase includes two blankets.
Troubleshooting
Fabric has developed small snags or pulls
Avoid washing with items containing velcro or sharp fasteners. Gently stretch the fabric in the opposite direction of the pull to help the fibers settle back into place.
Blankets feel less soft after repeated washing
Use a gentle detergent and ensure you are not overloading the washing machine. Air drying can also help maintain the natural softness of the bamboo fibers better than high-heat tumble drying.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your blankets last, always follow the care label instructions. It is recommended to machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Avoid using bleach, as this can break down the fibers. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the integrity of the fabric. Because the fabric is a high-quality viscose blend, keep the blankets away from velcro, zippers, or rough jewelry, as the fine weave can snag easily. There is no complex setup required; simply unfold and they are ready for use as a wrap, shield, or play mat.
