A cementitious waterproof coating designed for use below and above ground for cellars, retaining walls, and tanks. It offers excellent adhesion to most common building materials and is water-based, making it safe to apply on damp surfaces. The slurry is easy to apply by brush and is resistant to positive and negative water pressure up to 7 Bar. It is WRAS approved. This high-performance product provides excellent water resistance (EN 998-1), flexibility, good adhesion, and set control in a water mix form. Bond It TANKING SLURRY is a blend of Portland cements, quality graded aggregates, and chemical modifiers, which provide a waterproof coating system. Suitable for tanks, pits, swimming pools, above and below ground walls and floors, cellars, underground rooms, interior spaces like ducting, party walls, lift shafts, and fish ponds. Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, grease, loose material, or previous coatings. Prepare surfaces using abrasive tools, jet washing, or wire brushing and remove any debris with clean water. A sound mechanical key surface must be achieved prior to slurry or backing render application. Tap off water pressure where necessary and insert a fillet at floor and wall joints. Running water and surface defects like holes, cracks, or fractures should be filled with Bond It PLUG IT, which can be over coated with TANKING SLURRY once cool and dry to the touch.
