FAQs

How many tablets should I use per reservoir?

The usage ratio depends on the capacity of your specific vehicle's reservoir; typically, one tablet is sufficient for a standard-sized wash bottle.

Can I use these tablets in winter?

These tablets are designed for effective cleaning, but they do not contain antifreeze properties; ensure you add an appropriate de-icer additive if temperatures drop below freezing.

Will these tablets damage my paintwork?

No, the formula is designed to be safe for vehicle glass and surrounding bodywork when used as directed.

How should I store unused tablets?

Keep them in their original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Can I mix these with other screen wash liquids?

It is generally recommended to use only one type of washer fluid at a time to prevent potential chemical reactions or clogging of the pump.

Troubleshooting

Tablet is taking too long to dissolve

Ensure you are using fresh water; if necessary, dissolve the tablet in a small container of water first before pouring it into the reservoir.

Fluid is not spraying through the nozzles

Check your washer fluid hoses for kinks or blockages; clean the nozzle tips with a fine needle to remove mineral deposits or dried wax.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Significantly reduces storage space requirements
Cost-effective solution for high-volume users
Easy to transport and handle without risk of liquid spills
Effective at removing common road contaminants
Compatible with most vehicle washer systems

Cons

Requires manual mixing with water
Must be stored in a cool, dry place to maintain tablet integrity
Not suitable for use without adding water

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To prepare your washer fluid, drop the recommended number of tablets into your windscreen washer reservoir and add fresh water. If your reservoir is already partially full, the tablets will still dissolve, though performance is best when mixed directly into an empty or near-empty system. Ensure the tablets are stored in their original packaging in a dry environment to prevent premature dissolution or moisture absorption. While the tablets are compatible with most standard vehicle washer pumps and hoses, it is recommended to ensure your nozzles are free of debris to allow the fluid to spray evenly across the glass. No special maintenance is required for the washer system beyond standard upkeep of the fluid levels.
