Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation is critical for the long-term performance of this tray. Because the tray is very rigid, it must be installed on a perfectly level surface to prevent drainage issues. If the floor is uneven, utilize a mortar bed or a dedicated tray riser kit.
Installation Tips:
- Ensure the 90mm waste hole is correctly aligned with your existing sub-floor pipework before finalizing the position.
- Use a high-quality, mold-resistant silicone sealant around the perimeter to create a watertight seal against tiled walls.
- Once installed, allow the silicone to cure for at least 24 hours before introducing water.
Care Instructions:
- Clean the tray with warm soapy water and a soft cloth to maintain the finish.
- Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could dull the slate-effect texture.
- Regularly remove the quick-release inner waste unit to clear any buildup of debris to maintain optimal flow rates.
