Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Plan your layout: Determine the desired shape and path for your edging.
- Prepare the ground: Loosen the soil slightly along the planned line where the edging will be inserted.
- Position the first panel: Place the first 1-metre panel along your line, ensuring the integrated spike is ready to be pushed into the ground.
- Insert the spike: Gently push or tap the spike downwards into the soil until the desired depth is reached. Use a rubber mallet or a piece of wood to protect the panel if tapping.
- Connect subsequent panels: Align the next panel with the first, using the dual locking connection system to securely join them. Ensure the connection is firm.
- Continue installation: Repeat steps 4 and 5 for remaining panels, following your planned layout.
Compatibility:
This edging is designed for insertion into most types of soil. It is compatible with standard garden soil, loam, and moderately compacted earth. Avoid installation in extremely rocky or compacted clay soils without prior loosening.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the powder coating.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the connections and ensure spikes remain firmly in the ground. Minor soil adjustments may be needed after heavy rain or frost.
- Winter: The durable steel construction is designed for year-round outdoor use. No special winter storage is required.
