Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Compatibility Check: Before installation, verify that your alloy wheels have a flat, continuous outer edge. These protectors are not suitable for wheels with rounded, curved, or split profiles. Test fit by placing the profile against the rim's edge.
Preparation: Ensure the wheel rim is clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, or brake dust. Use the provided IPA cleaning wipes to thoroughly clean the rim surface where the protector will be applied. Allow it to dry completely. Use the 3M adhesion promoter on the cleaned rim surface as directed on the sachet to enhance bonding.
Installation: Cut the Rimsaver profile to the required length for each wheel using appropriate tools (not included). Apply a thin, even bead of the provided glue to the back of the Rimsaver profile. Carefully press the Rimsaver onto the prepared rim edge, starting from one point and working your way around. Use the colour-matched joining clips to secure the ends of the profile neatly and ensure a continuous look. Allow the glue to cure fully according to the glue manufacturer's instructions before driving.
Care: Clean the Rimsavers and wheels with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools that could damage the finish.
