Full details

The Lay-Z-Spa Ibiza is an energy-efficient, inflatable square hot tub designed for up to six people seeking relaxation and hydrotherapy at home. Its key benefit is the powerful 140 AirJet massage system and year-round use thanks to Freeze Shield technology. A potential caveat is that inflatable models may require more maintenance than rigid hot tubs. This hot tub features durable TriTech material, EnergySense insulation for efficiency, a power-saving timer, and a rapid heating system.

Troubleshooting

Hot tub not inflating

Ensure the inflation valve is fully open and that the pump is securely connected. Check for any leaks in the material.

Water not heating or heating slowly

Verify the temperature setting on the digital control panel. Check that the power-saving timer is not preventing heating. Ensure the filter is clean and that the ambient temperature is not extremely low, which can slow heating.

AirJet massage not working

Confirm that the AirJet button is pressed on the control panel. Check if the filter system is running, as some models require the filter to be on for the jets to function. Ensure there are no blockages in the AirJet outlets.

Error code displayed on control panel

Consult the product manual for a specific list of error codes and their corresponding solutions. Common codes relate to water flow, temperature, or grounding.

Water is cloudy or has an odor

Check and clean/replace the filter cartridge. Test the water chemistry and adjust chlorine, pH, and alkalinity levels as recommended. Shock the water if necessary.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Lay-Z-Spa Ibiza is designed for straightforward self-assembly. It inflates using the integrated pump and includes all necessary parts for installation. Ensure you have a flat, stable surface with adequate space. Follow the included manual for step-by-step inflation, connection of the filter and heater pump, and filling with water.

Compatibility: This hot tub is designed for domestic outdoor use. It requires a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the power source is protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA for safety. It is compatible with common pool chemicals managed via the ChemConnect™ dispenser.

Care: Regular maintenance is crucial for hygiene and longevity.

Water Quality: Use the ChemConnect™ dispenser to maintain appropriate chlorine levels. Test water regularly with test strips and adjust chemicals as needed (pH, alkalinity, chlorine).
Filtration: Clean or replace the filter cartridge regularly as per the manufacturer's instructions to ensure optimal water circulation and clarity.
Cleaning: Drain and clean the interior surface periodically using a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before deflating.
Lid: Always use the insulated lid when the hot tub is not in use to retain heat and keep debris out.
Storage: In freezing temperatures, ensure Freeze Shield™ is active or drain the hot tub completely. For long-term storage, deflate, clean, and dry the hot tub thoroughly before storing in a cool, dry place.
