The Crystal GRP Front door Monza Left Black Open in Left hand Clear Glass is designed for homeowners seeking enhanced security and energy efficiency. Its key benefit is superior insulation, significantly reducing energy bills due to its GRP skin and high-density polyurethane foam core. A potential consideration is its specific left-hand opening configuration, which requires careful placement.

'Left Open in' indicates that the door is hinged on the left side and opens inwards when viewed from the outside.
The door features the integration for the Kubu system and comes with a high-security locking system. The Kubu sensors and hub are typically purchased separately to enable the intelligent alerting features.
The U-value is 1.2 W/m²K, signifying excellent thermal insulation properties.
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) provides a stable, durable, and water-resistant exterior that is less prone to warping or degradation from weather compared to traditional materials.
The product height, including the PVC cill, is 209.0 cm. The width is 92.0 cm, and the frame depth is 7.0 cm.
This GRP composite door is approximately 6 times more thermally efficient than a traditional timber door.
The door comes with a 10-year guarantee.
Check for any obstructions around the frame or hinges. Ensure the door and frame are plumb and level. The locking mechanism may need adjustment; consult a professional installer if unsure.
Verify that the Kubu sensors are correctly installed and paired with the Kubu hub and app. Check the battery levels in the sensors and hub. Ensure the app is updated and connected to the internet.
Minor condensation on the external surface in certain weather conditions is normal for double-glazed units. Significant condensation between the glass panes indicates a seal failure, and the sealed unit may need replacement.
Inspect the weather seals around the door frame and the threshold for any damage or gaps. Ensure the door is properly aligned and closing tightly against the seals. Adjustments to the locking points may be necessary.
Setup:
This door is designed for straightforward installation, but professional fitting is recommended due to its weight and security features. Ensure the opening is correctly measured and prepared. The door comes with a handle, low aluminium threshold, and PVC cill, all of which need to be properly affixed during installation. Frame depth is 70mm.
Compatibility:
The door is handed for a left-hand opening when viewed from the outside. It is compatible with the Kubu intelligent alerting system, which requires separate sensor installation and app setup for full functionality. The dimensions are H:209.0 x W:92.0 x D:7.0 cm.
Care:
Clean the GRP surface and glass with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. The aluminium threshold and PVC cill can be cleaned similarly. Regularly check the locking mechanism and moving parts for smooth operation.
