FAQs

What material is the cap made of?

The cap features a corduroy construction on the front panels and polyester mesh on the rear panels.

Is this cap suitable for sports?

While it offers sun protection and breathability, it is primarily designed for casual wear and fan apparel rather than high-intensity athletic performance.

How do I adjust the size?

The cap has an adjustable snapback closure at the back, allowing you to customize the fit by fastening the snaps to your preferred tightness.

Can I wash this cap in a washing machine?

No, it is recommended to hand wash the cap with cold water and mild detergent to preserve its shape and material integrity. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

What does the 'A-Frame' refer to?

The 'A-Frame' refers to the specific panel construction that creates a streamlined, clean profile for the cap.

Is this cap specifically for men or women?

The cap is designed as unisex and is suitable for adults of any gender.

How should I store the cap to maintain its shape?

Store the cap on a cap rack or shelf to help it retain its structured shape. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of it.

Troubleshooting

Cap does not fit properly

Adjust the snapback closure at the rear of the cap for a tighter or looser fit. Ensure all snaps are securely fastened.

Cap loses its shape

Gently reshape the cap by hand while damp and allow it to air dry. For persistent shape issues, consider using a cap shaper or storing it on a rack.

Corduroy material looks worn or matted

This can occur with heavy use. Try gently brushing the corduroy with a soft brush to lift the nap. Avoid excessive friction during wear and cleaning.

Mesh panels are dirty

Use a soft cloth or a very soft brush with cold water and mild soap to gently clean the mesh. Rinse carefully and air dry.

Pros and Cons

Cons

Corduroy material may be susceptible to scuffing or damage if not handled carefully.

Primarily designed for casual wear and may not be suitable for athletic performance contexts.
Black color may show dust or lint more prominently.
Mesh panels might not be ideal in very cold weather.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This cap requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase. Its adjustable snapback closure is compatible with most adult head sizes. To care for your New Era A-Frame Adjustable Trucker Cap:

Cleaning: Hand wash only with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Drying: Reshape the cap while damp and air dry flat. Do not machine dry or tumble dry, as this can damage the structure and materials.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally on a cap rack or shelf to maintain its shape. Avoid crushing or folding the cap.
Material Care: Be mindful of the corduroy texture; avoid excessive rubbing or abrasion which can wear down the material.
