These bow shackles are designed to US Federal Specification RR-C-27IDIV. Drop forged and galvanised for strength and durability. Fitted with a safety pin for extra peace of mind and security when lifting. Safe Working Load of 0.75 Ton with a Safety Factor of 5:1. Our Drop Forged Bow Shackles have a safety factor of 5:1. These are fitted with a blue painted safety pin which prevents the pin from slipping, for that extra security and peace of mind. Bow shackles can be used for a variety of applications including lifting and towing, the bow shape allows for a wider lifting point compared to a Dee shackle. Unlike a Dee shackle, Bow shackles can be used for both in line lifting, and for lifting at up to a 45 degree angle. A galvanised finish provides good resistance to rust keeping the shackle in optimum condition for longer than its self colour counterpart. Test Certificate Supplied Upon Request (Sent Via Email).
