FAQs

What type of light bulb does this lamp use?

The Robyn lamp uses a standard E26 bulb socket. Please refer to the label on the lamp's socket for the maximum wattage allowed. A bulb is not included.

Is the blue color on the base always the same?

No, the base features a reactive glaze which means each lamp has a unique ombre pattern and color variation. This is an intentional characteristic of the design.

How do I clean the velvet lampshade?

Gently dust the velvet shade with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment. For stains, it's best to consult a professional upholstery cleaner or test a fabric cleaner in an inconspicuous area first.

Does the lamp come with a light bulb?

No, the light bulb is sold separately.

What are the dimensions of the lamp?

Please refer to the product specifications on the retailer's website for exact dimensions, as these can vary slightly.

Can I use a smart bulb with this lamp?

Yes, as long as the smart bulb uses an E26 base and does not exceed the maximum wattage specified for the lamp, it should be compatible.

Troubleshooting

Lamp does not turn on

Ensure the lamp is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check that the light bulb is screwed in securely and is not burnt out. Test with a different, known-working bulb.

Lampshade is uneven or wobbly

Check that the lampshade support arms are fully screwed into the socket. Ensure the lampshade is seated correctly on the support arms.

Base has a strange mark

This may be a characteristic of the reactive glaze finish, which creates unique patterns. If it appears to be damage, contact customer support.

Cons

  • Reactive glaze variations mean each lamp will differ from product images.
  • Velvet shade may require specific cleaning to maintain appearance.

  • May be too distinct for minimalist decor styles.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

  1. Unpack all components carefully.
  2. Screw the lampshade support arms into the socket.
  3. Place the seafoam velvet shade onto the support arms and secure it.
  4. Screw in a compatible light bulb (E26 base, max wattage as specified on the lamp's socket label, bulb not included).
  5. Plug the lamp into a power outlet.

Compatibility:

  • Uses a standard E26 bulb socket.
  • Compatible with LED, incandescent, and CFL bulbs (check maximum wattage).

Care:

  • For the base, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the reactive glaze.
