FAQs

How long does it take for seeds to germinate in the propagator?

Germination time varies depending on the seed type. However, the consistent warmth and humidity provided by the propagator typically accelerate the process compared to unheated environments.

What type of growing medium should I use?

Seed compost is recommended for starting seeds and rooting cuttings. It provides the right balance of nutrients and drainage.

How often should I water my plants?

Water when the surface of the growing medium feels dry to the touch. The enclosed environment may require less frequent watering compared to plants grown outdoors.

Can I use this propagator for vegetables, flowers, and herbs?

Yes, the Garland G186 is suitable for growing a wide variety of plants from seeds and cuttings, including vegetables, flowers, and herbs.

How do I control the humidity levels?

Use the adjustable vent on the clear cover. Open the vent slightly to reduce humidity, and close it to retain more moisture.

What is the wattage of the heating element?

The heating element is an 8-watt base.

What are the dimensions of the propagator?

The dimensions are H20 x W38.5 x D24cm.

What is the warranty period?

Please refer to the product documentation or contact the manufacturer for specific warranty details.
