This cabinet is designed for the safe storage of flammable liquids, chemicals, paints, sprays, and other hazardous substances that fall under regulations like the Highly Flammable Liquids and Liquid Gases Regulations.
The cabinet has a total weight capacity of 250Kg. The individual adjustable shelf has a capacity of 35Kgs when loaded uniformly.
The cabinet is supplied largely assembled, with the shelf requiring placement onto adjustable pins. The locking mechanism is pre-installed.
Use a damp cloth with mild detergent for general cleaning. For the sump, carefully remove any spilled liquids and clean with absorbent materials and a suitable cleaning agent. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.
It complies with the requirements of the Highly Flammable Liquids and Liquid Gases Regulations, Guidelines set out by the Health and Safety Guide HSG51, DSEAR Dangerous Substance and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations, and Approved Code of Practice (ACoP).
The shelf can be adjusted on 25mm pitches, allowing for multiple height configurations within the cabinet's internal space.
The external dimensions of the cabinet are 457mm (Width) x 457mm (Height) x 305mm (Depth).
Check if the shelf is incorrectly positioned or if contents are obstructing the door. Ensure the cabinet is level and not warped. Verify that the locking bolts align with their receivers.
Ensure the shelf pins are fully inserted into the cabinet's pre-drilled holes and that the shelf is seated correctly on all four pins.
Clean the affected area with a mild abrasive pad and reapply a suitable metal paint (epoxy-based yellow paint recommended for touch-ups). Ensure the cabinet is kept in a dry environment.
Carefully transfer the spilled liquid to an appropriate waste container. Clean the sump thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent and absorbent materials.
