Full details

Designed for the fashion-conscious adult seeking a blend of comfort and classic style, these & Other Stories Tie-Side Bikini Briefs offer a versatile swimwear solution. The key benefit is the adjustable side-tie mechanism, which allows for a truly personalized fit and silhouette control. A notable caveat is that the polyester construction requires careful attention to cleaning to maintain the fabric's integrity and the longevity of the polka dot print.

FAQs

Are these briefs true to size?

The tie-side design allows for some flexibility in fit, but it is recommended to consult the size guide to match your specific UK dress size.

Can these be machine washed?

It is strongly recommended to hand wash these briefs to preserve the integrity of the ties and the fabric quality.

What material are these made of?

These bikini briefs are crafted from high-quality polyester, chosen for its durability and resistance to wear in water environments.

Does the polka dot pattern fade?

While the fabric is durable, rinsing after contact with chlorine or salt will significantly help in maintaining the vividness of the pattern.

Is the coverage adjustable?

While the hip fit is adjustable, the rear coverage is fixed as a 'cheeky' cut.

Troubleshooting

Side ties feel loose after swimming

Check the knot before entering the water; ensure a double knot is tied to secure the preferred tightness.

Fabric appears to be losing shape

Avoid exposing the garment to excessive heat or prolonged direct sunlight, which can weaken the synthetic fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Fully adjustable side ties ensure a custom fit.
Classic polka dot pattern remains stylish season after season.
Mid-rise cut offers a flattering and secure silhouette.
Cheeky coverage provides a modern, trendy aesthetic.

Cons

Polyester fabric requires hand washing to prevent wear.
Limited coverage due to the cheeky design style.
Requires careful storage to prevent tangling of side ties.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your bikini briefs last, always rinse them thoroughly in cold, fresh water immediately after use to remove salt, chlorine, or sunscreen residue. Hand wash in mild detergent and lay flat to dry in the shade; avoid wringing the fabric or using high-heat tumble dryers, as this can degrade the elasticity of the polyester. Store in a cool, dry place and ensure side ties are untied or loosely knotted to prevent creases or structural stress on the side seams during extended storage.
