Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your Wild Bird Nut Feeder, simply open the top (if applicable, or ensure it's designed for easy top-loading) and fill with your preferred wild bird nuts or seed mix. Use the integrated hanging loop to suspend the feeder from a tree branch, hook, or a bird feeding station. Ensure the feeder is hung securely.
Compatibility: These feeders are compatible with a wide range of high-energy bird foods, including peanuts, sunflower hearts, suet balls, and mixed nuts. They are designed for outdoor use.
Care: To maintain the feeders and ensure bird health, clean them regularly.
- Empty any remaining food.
- Wash the feeder with warm, soapy water, using a brush to clean the mesh if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before refilling.
- Regular cleaning, ideally every two weeks, helps prevent mold and the spread of disease among birds.
