FAQs

How does the Eco-Drive technology work?

Eco-Drive technology converts any light source into energy to power the watch. Excess energy is stored in a rechargeable power cell.

How often does the watch need to be charged?

The watch should be exposed to light regularly. When fully charged, it can operate for several months, even in darkness.

Is the watch water-resistant?

Yes, it is water-resistant up to 200 meters, suitable for swimming and recreational diving.

How do I use the chronograph function?

Use the top pusher to start and stop the chronograph. The bottom pusher resets the chronograph hands.

What is the slide-rule bezel used for?

The slide-rule bezel is used for calculations related to navigation, such as speed, distance, and fuel consumption.

How do I adjust the bracelet?

The bracelet can be adjusted by removing or adding links. It is recommended to have a professional do this.

What kind of crystal does the watch have?

The watch has a sapphire crystal, known for its scratch resistance.

What is the warranty period?

Citizen offers a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Please consult your warranty documents for specifics.

Troubleshooting

Watch is not running.

Ensure the watch has been adequately exposed to light to charge the Eco-Drive cell.

Chronograph hands are not aligning.

Reset the chronograph hands by pulling the crown out to the second position and pressing the pushers.

Fogging under the crystal.

If fogging occurs, it indicates a breach of the water resistance. Contact Citizen or a watch repair specialist.
