Full details
This is a budget-friendly solution for covering surfaces in your home. The self-adhesive vinyl wrap can be used to cover kitchen doors, it’s heat resistant to 75C and durable to clean. This is a non-permanent DIY solution and is completely removable, ideal for tenants or landlords looking for a quick fix. Give flatpack furniture an update using one of these glossy or matt colours – great for Ikea hackers who desire a unique look or craft enthusiasts! Application instructions: Use a dc fix application kit for application, which won’t damage the vinyl when smoothing out and includes a handy cutting tool. Overlap the vinyl wrap film a few mm to allow for shrinkage when joining. The vinyl can be used on craft machines; adjust the blade setting to the required thickness. The vinyl has a handy grid on the backing paper to use as a cutting guide. The vinyl can be difficult to manoeuvre on surfaces like glass and appliances; lightly spray water first. Appliances can be covered; remove any handles or lettering first. Use a hairdryer on curved surfaces to warm the vinyl wrap film, making it more pliable for tricky edges. Aftercare instructions: Wipe clean using regular household cleaner; do not scrub the vinyl and wipe spillages that may stain immediately (e.g., curry). Do not cut or move sharp objects around on the vinyl as it will damage it. Heat resistant to 75C, keep 12 inches away from naked flames. Made in Germany, it has a 5-star rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness, shrinkage, and durability. Unlike solvent-based adhesives, dcfix has a water-based, low-tack adhesive that allows you to reposition the vinyl during application. It then bonds fully within 24 hours and can be removed using heat from a hairdryer. You will receive a pack of 3 rolls, each roll is 67.5cm x 2m.
