Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to its outermost position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in fully to start the watch.
- Setting the Date: For many chronograph watches, the date is set by pulling the crown out to a middle position (often the first click). Rotate the crown until the correct date appears. Push the crown back in fully.
- Adjusting the Band: The stainless steel band typically requires professional adjustment by removing links to achieve the perfect fit. Visit a jeweler or watch repair shop for precise resizing. Ensure the deployment clasp clicks securely into place after adjustment for comfortable wear.
Compatibility:
This Emporio Armani Mario watch is designed for universal wear on the wrist, fitting comfortably after proper band adjustment. Its classic black aesthetic ensures it complements a wide range of outfits and personal styles.
Care & Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the case and band with a soft, lint-free, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and oils. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemical cleaners, which can damage the finish.
- Water Exposure: While resistant to 3 bars (3 ATM), avoid prolonged exposure to water. Do not wear it while showering, swimming, or diving. If the watch gets wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth.
- Temperature Extremes: Protect the watch from extreme hot or cold temperatures, as these can affect the movement and battery life.
- Impact: Avoid dropping the watch or exposing it to severe impacts, which can damage the internal components or exterior.
- Battery Replacement: The Quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the watch stops, it indicates the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper resealing and water resistance integrity.
