FAQs
What is the primary purpose of the Speero Modular Clip On Cool Bag?
Its primary purpose is to provide compact, insulated storage for bait or food, designed to clip onto other Speero modular bags or rucksacks for anglers on short sessions or who want to consolidate their gear.
How much bait can the bag hold?
The bag has a capacity of 12 litres and can hold up to 5kg of bait, or enough food for a short session.
What makes the cooling system effective?
It features a THERMO cooling system designed to maintain the temperature of the contents. For optimal performance, pre-chilling the bag or using ice packs is recommended.
Is the bag waterproof?
The bag is constructed from durable, wipe-clean materials, but it is not fully waterproof. It is designed for insulation and protection from light moisture, not submersion.
How do I clean the cool bag?
The exterior can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The interior has a hard-wearing, wipe-clean cover that can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure it is thoroughly dried before storing.
What are the dimensions of the bag?
The dimensions are approximately 35cm in length, 13cm in height, and 26cm in width.
Can this bag be used independently without clipping onto other luggage?
While it can be placed on the ground or a surface, its design and clip system are optimized for attachment to other Speero modular gear. It does not feature a separate shoulder strap for independent carrying.
Troubleshooting
Bag not securely attaching to luggage
Ensure the Nylon clips are fully engaged with the attachment points. Check for any debris obstructing the clips or attachment loops and clear them. Verify that the bag is being attached to a compatible Speero modular system or a similar attachment mechanism.
Reduced cooling performance
Check that the main zip is fully closed to maintain the seal. Ensure the THERMO cooling system lining is intact and not damaged. For best results, pre-chill the bag or use ice packs inside along with your bait or food. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Difficulty zipping or unzipping
Inspect the zip for any fabric or debris caught in the teeth. Gently try to clear the obstruction. If the zip feels stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the zip teeth and work it back and forth to restore smooth operation.
Interior lining showing signs of wear
While designed for durability, excessive abrasion can occur. For minor wear, continue to wipe clean as normal. For significant damage, contact customer support regarding potential repair or replacement options.
