Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Placement: Ensure the insole is placed correctly within your shoe, with the heel of the insole snugly against the back of your shoe.
- Fit Check: Verify that the insole fits well inside the shoe. If it's slightly too large, you may carefully trim the insole to match the existing insole or the shoe's shape. Always trim small amounts at a time.
- Break-in Period: Your feet may need time to adapt to the new orthotic support. Begin by wearing the insoles for a few hours each day and gradually increase your wear time over a week or two until you can wear them comfortably all day.
Compatibility
These insoles are designed to be suitable for various types of footwear, including casual shoes, work shoes, and athletic shoes. However, always ensure there is enough space in your shoe for the insole to fit comfortably without making your footwear too tight.
Care
- Inspection: Regularly inspect your insoles for signs of wear or deterioration. If they appear worn down, flattened, or damaged, it's time to replace them to maintain optimal support and pain relief.
- Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Discontinue Use: If you experience any persistent discomfort or irritation while using the insoles, discontinue use immediately.
- Medical Advice: Individuals with diabetes or poor circulation should consult a doctor before using these insoles. If plantar fasciitis pain persists despite using the insoles, consult a health professional.
- Certified Footwear: Be aware that modifying certified shoes by adding or removing insoles may affect their certification.
