Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply unroll the cutting mat and place it on a flat, stable surface. Allow it to lie flat for a few hours before first use to ensure it settles completely.
Compatibility: This mat is compatible with a wide range of cutting tools, including rotary cutters, craft knives, utility knives, and quilting rulers. It is suitable for use with paper, cardstock, fabric, vinyl, and thin plastic sheets.
Care: To maintain the mat's performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Mild soap can be used for stubborn marks, but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Blade Marks: Light scoring from blades is normal and part of the self-healing process. Avoid pressing excessively hard.
- Storage: Store the mat flat or loosely rolled with the cutting surface facing outwards to prevent damage or creasing.
- Environment: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can degrade the PVC.
